Stupid and Posted By a Man (of Course)

so i open a bulletin on another "social networking site" to this gem:

"1. There's a preacher and wife who are very, very, poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she's pregnant with her 15th. They're living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending she get an abortion?

2. A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

3. A teenage girl is pregnant. She's not married. Her fiancee is not the father of the baby, and he's very upset. Would you consider recommending abortion?

If you have answered "yes" in any of these situations:

In the first case, you have just killed John Wesley. One of the great evangelists of the 19th century.

In the second case, you have killed Ethel Waters, the great black gospel singer.

If you said yes to the third case, you have just declared the murder of Jesus Christ!"-----

you know what??? if i were the woman in ANY of the three above cases i would have an abortion-- well, except maybe the first one because if i were enough of a moron to have FOURTEEN kids than what's an extra one????

in addition, as a jew, i am not remotely interested in a). evangelists, b). gospel singers and c). jesus. as a matter of fact, as i may or may not have mentioned, my "people" are NOT fond of jesus. we turned him over to the romans to have him executed.

abortion is a legal medical procedure that can help a woman from ruining her life and the life of other human beings. it's not murder. "murder" is criminal act of homicide. kindly purchase a dictionary. kthx!

******* A! Dead on! As to that bastard Jesus I would like to have taken my 16 gauge to his face any way.

thank you asia! :)

sorry-- had to delete ignorant comments. i said "i am sick of people saying 'abortion is murder'. therefore claiming it is murder is making me too sick to see your comments.

a cow has brainwaves and a heartbeat as well and we "terminate life" in order to eat a steak. and i of course have NO problem with that-- it's fine! yes, we must end the life of the cow in order to eat it, but we've certainly not "murdered" the cow.
perhaps terminating a pregnancy is to terminate "life", but to terminate a rudimentary "life" in the womb is not defined as "murder". that is not merely my "opinion". the supreme court has deemed it to be the case. as a matter of fact, if i were to be pregnant and i could not obtain a safe legal abortion i might be forced to kill myself-- which would end two "lives". so perhaps refusal of an abortion is to "murder" a woman!!!
i'm happy my rights are protected and i take the firm stance, if you're against abortion, then don't have one.

I recently heard a position on Fox news from a contributor that has caused me to have 2nd thoughts: His view is "what is the definition of death?". The surpreme court has decided that the absence of brain waves and a heart beat constitutes death. Using that same logic, which seems pretty sound, a fetus at 16 days has a heartbeat and at 22 days has brainwaves! Net, causing either one of those two bodily functions to cease would be construed as a termination of life.
My only issue on abortion would be: It should not be a method of birth control for consenting adult women! It should not be an "Oops" for reckless behaviour. My 2 cents. Bill in Va.
