I'm Just So Ready To Give Up!

I'm 18 I've been single my whole life, I'm just so ready to give up on everything. Ive tried so many times, but have failed. I've never gotten a girl I wanted. I'm so tired of being alone. I want to know what it's like to love someone, or to be loved. Sure I have friends, nobody I'm really close to. I'm still I. High school, and prom is coming up, I cant even find a date, not even as a "friend". I'm just so ready to give up on everything. I know your going to say "your so young" but truth is I'm going off to college in a few months. I don't see anything changing.

    I know it's hard to actually listen to these words, but, YOU ARE YOUNG. Dating in high school seems like the biggest deal in the world at the time, but please remember high school is a very contained bubble with people you have probably know most of your life. When you start working, going to college, and living your life (which is incredibly soon for you), you are going to meet so many new friends and new romantic interests. Please just enjoy the rest of your high school experience, it's the only one you get, and don't compare yourself to your friends or other people, because we all grow at our own individual paces. Your life is just starting. Enjoy it.

    Yeah I know. There must be many loners out there too. Maybe right now in high school you can't meet people. But in college you'll meet new people. Just hope for a better tomorrow. :)
