I Can't Start Up A Good Converstation

In public, here, on other websites. When ever I try to make friends.
It becomes awkward.

I'll say something like this:
"Er hello...so you like waffles?"
Or something that is in there username..
"Hello! you like cats right? I see from your username you must be a cat person..."
......Anyways.
I have a hard time connecting with people....

    And funny enough, I have a hard time connecting with peeps too LoL

    I'm a socially akward girl and i found my akwardness entertaining, it may sound weird but i think it's funny when people give me the weird looks, and sometimes i even scare them. Still
    it's pretty lonely sometimes and my family it's always bugging me about how "antisocial" i am. I'm happy anyway.

    this is one of the reasons i don't like talking on the phone because it's all talk but at least talking to people in person there's more to work with if it does get silent.

      I know. I don't talk on the phone unless its my parents. My friend is also socially awkward.
