i feel sorry that you cant get out to A.A. I have tried A.A. on at least 5 occassions and N.A about the same. I cant do it! I have tried but i cant. A.A you guys claim you arent affiliated with any religion but theres that many refrences to god all the time it makes me sick. I don't wanna go there and hear about how much GOD has done for them and if it weren't for GOD i dont know i would have done. Get stuffed. GOD does frigging nothing. Every bit of progress i have ever made is because I GOT OFF MY ARSE AND DID IT!!! listening to the never ending GOD Drivell doesnt help me i walk away with nothing from the meetings. Its like i just went to church except i didnt have to actually open and look at the bible to see what GOD really thinks and feels. Oh and as for N.A thats just a drug rave fest, i did drugs bigger and harder than you and i fell in the biggest gutter you can find they had to get a crane in to get me out.<br />

im glad it works for you because for me im still looking, still trying

I dunno how you feel about it - but ALANON changed my life! My parents never drank - not my grandparents either - but my great grandparents on both sides of family. And the disease was well intact. I resisted going for 2 years (my dad & sister told me to try) cuz I thought it was a group for complaining lol!! I went and finally started healing.....then my dad & sister quit..? But I'm still glad I went. Best to ya!! Hug too! ; )

Yay!! Good to meet you & I appreciate your comment on my story about being myself. I got sober in '89 and am in my 20th year. We are special people, yes?
