I feel that I am in this constant cycle of stress and depression. I am clinically depressed and when a stressful situation occurs (such as finals week) I become depressed. When I am depressed I lack the motivation to do anything and find myself behind. This of course causes more stress and the cycle continues. Yet, I must be some sort of masochist. It is two in the morning and I need to write an essay before 9 AM...yet I am writing this story instead.

You need a stress reliever, like some Chinese meditation balls, a funny video to watch over and over, or a cat that constantly jumps in your lap at inappropriate moments acting like he belongs there.
