I Am Struggling With Religion

Sometimes we get very caught up in trying to forecast what will happen in our life and are consumed with thoughts like, "If I do this then this might happen," or, "Well what happens if I do this instead?" We drive ourselves crazy with worry, fear, and anxiety trying to figure everything out and basically it comes down to a very simple spiritual principal; it's called trust. Do you trust that if you decide to turn to God and follow where He leads that He will not hurt you? Do you wonder if God's love and mercy are for people that have less sin in their lives than you do? Lastly, do you worry that you God won't listen to your pleas for help? I am here to lead you to the truth that our merciful Father wants to show you, not because I am better than anyone reading this, but because I have been that hurting soul that desperately wanted to believe God but was filled with doubt and fear. Please keep reading as I give you PROMISES from the bible that back up my claim that God will answer your call.
First of all, Mathew 7:7 reads, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For EVERYONE who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door WILL be open." Deuteronomy 4:29-31. promises, "But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and soul. When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the Lord your God and obey Him. For the Lord your God is a merciful God; He will not abandon you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which He confirmed with them by oath." Wow! What a powerful claim! An oath can be defined as a promise or a vow. So again my friend, I beg you to take a chance, lean on God and ask Him into your life right now. Do not wait to clean up your life first, invite Him in with the mess just as it is. Like the quote says, just obey God and leave the consequences to Him..
