Move On? Where?

I always hear people saying you should forget about it, that was a long time ago, is time to move on. The question is where? If all that you have achieve pale in comparison with what you did not not matter how insignificant may look to others you don't move on because there is nothing to look forward to. You keep playing the game of what if I have done that differently or not make that decision. It is futile because we can't change it but we torture ourselves with it.

I can't tell you how much time I've spent playing "if only I had. . ." ...said this, did that, remembered to - and on and on. I would be wide awake nights and waste time during the day playing this frustrating game that you can never win! I'm convince that this constant chatter is linked to our anxiety/depression problems. I don't think there is a cure but there is hope. It's taken most of my adult life to reach a point of being able to manage (IT) where I can say my every day life doesn't suck. Whithin the last 3 years there are days I can say I felt happy and content with who I am. Hallelujah!
I'm convince that we are meant to enjoy this life. Please don't give up hope and don't give up trying to find the answer or answers that works for you.
I have complete faith you will.
