I Did Not Expect That

So I'm now at the point in my life when nothing seems to faze me. I don't cringe at anything anymore and I'm pretty sure I've seen and heard the weirdest things possible. What with my friends anything is possible. This was true up until an hour ago. One of my 'friends', I'll say that for the sake of it told me some really strange things. So I'm a massive fan of rock, heavy metal and screamo etc. and this girl made it her mission in life to slag it off at any possible opportunity. Fair enough that's something else I'm used to but that's not what's surprised me. She told me that she started listening to rock music and that left me speechless she only gave me time to get over that just before she dropped yet another bombshell. She likes a lot of the bands I like which she has slagged off for ages which is weird by itself but she blames it on me! She says that if I like it as much as I do it couldn't be that bad and she was curious so she listened to it and now likes it. Life can be so confusing!
