Tried making steamed rice cake today. It was just...there was oily water dripping out of the pot and set a tiny fire on one of the stove...and sent off the smoke detector...
But at least the cake tasted great...
Ingredients--rice flour 3 cups, brown sugar 1 1/2 cups, dried plum dices 80 g, water 5 cup, cooking oil 2 Tablespoons
1. Mix rice flour with 2 cups of water, then add cooking oil
2. Put brown sugar and 3 cups of water into a pot. Set the pot over stove. Stir constantly till all the sugar dissolve
3. Add the batter of Step 1 into the sugar water. Mix them well.
4. Grease a container and put a lay of dried plum dices on the bottom. Pour the batter in. Steam it over hot water for 45 minutes.
