I Am Telepathic
I've have this telepathic ‘gift' which has led me to some of the stories I've already written, but there is one event that leaves me shaken, it was weird and I have no explanation for it.
In Africa, I often went riding on horseback in the beautiful Drakensberg Mountains. I set off one glorious autumn morning and rode far up into the mountains to a peak in the "Little Berg" at around 7800ft. The scenery was stunning with the snow-capped peaks of the main berg towering many thousands of feet above me.
I was out for much of the day covering a considerable distance. The UV and glare up there was high so I swopped from my normal ‘varifocal' glasses to dark glasses and pocketed the others.
It was late afternoon before I returned. I unsaddled the horse, put it out to graze and went indoors then realised I still was wearing my dark glasses. I felt in my pocket for the others, but they weren't there.
Somewhere, miles out across those rugged mountainsides they'd fallen out of my pocket. Obviously, the proverbial needle in the haystack would be far easier to find. I was disappointed, but wasn't concerned, they were insured and I could do with a new pair.
Then it started, this strange little voice started to call. It seemed to say, "Don't leave us, please come and get us." I told myself this was crazy, a pair of glasses in a case don't send out telepathic messages! But the cry not only persisted, it became stronger. Soon, along with this came a clear picture of my glasses in their grey case lying on a bare patch of ground between tufts of tall veld grass. As the cry became stronger, so the picture, and its precise location, became more vivid.
Eventually, plucking up my all courage, I told my wife. She knows how I get these visions and prophecies, but this one went too far for her! She told me I was being ridiculous, this was just too weird and seemed concerned about my sanity.
But all night long this little voice pleaded with me, begging me, "Please don't leave us. Please come and get us." Come morning, I told my wife that I was going up on my mountain bike to the point where I was being shown to fetch my glasses in their grey case. Okay, I wouldn't repeat her reply, I'll just say it was little discouraging!
Despite this, after breakfast, I changed into my cycling gear and set off up into the mountains. There, at the exact spot, exactly as I'd seen in the picture on the bare ground between the tufts of veld grass was my grey glasses case!
The location and picture I'd been shown were precise! I picked them up and checked, the glasses inside were find - they are the very ones I'm wearing as I write this.
I can't believe that a piece of plastic, pieces of glass and a titanium (is it?) frame can talk, can send out telepathic messages! Or can they? No! Even I have trouble accepting that! But then from whence was that little voice coming, calling me, begging me. Where did the pictures come from showing the precise location on a mountainside and what it looked like where they were lying on the ground?
There is just so much ‘out there' that we don't come even close to understanding even remotely. People may discount this saying it can't be proven, it's just too absurd, and so science and understanding fail to progress. As weird as it is, I promise, no vow, this account is precise in its every detail.
