It Sucks, But At Least I'm Not Pressed For Cash

I hate my boss. He doesn't know **** about what I or my peers do. He chastises us for his mistakes and the mistakes of others. He takes no responsibility for the team. He doesn't know **** about the technology that we work with, but puts up a front like he knows what's going on. He tries to act like he's your "buddy" with stupid questions and comments about your personal life, which I have finally started to respond with "it's none of your business". I only stick around because I want to be there when the tard finally screws up bigtime. If the time comes that I find another position in the same company where I can move into the same paygrade as him, I'll take it, and I'll enjoy looking at him and saying "You were always wrong, and even your peers make fun of you. You should quit and go somewhere that nobody knows your name and start over."

Aside from my boss (I've loved all 3 of the supervisors that I had before him), my job is a blast. I do what I love, and I'll do it until I am unable to continue.

I remember a time when I had the same problem. For the first 2 years after I left the military I worked odd jobs, mediocre contracts and entry level positions until I found my path to a better place. I hope that you get through it in one piece too. I will be praying for you.

people look at me and say the jobs taken, lucky
