Graduation

Okay, my boyfriend graduates from boot camp in September. By then I'll be in college, on the completely opposite end of the country. Is it worth it to fly to San Diego and see him for TWO days?
I could just fly to our home town and be with him for the rest of his ten days, and it would be a lot cheaper. I wouldn't have to arrange for a hotel, or rent a car. How important is graduation?

U NEED to go!!! You will regret it if you dont. It is so amazing just to see him in is uniform and watching him march on the parade deck. And you will notice a change in him. Its such and AMAZING experince. Every last penny you spend will totally be worh it.

Go!!! It is an amazing experience and is definitely worth the money! The moment you get to see your boy after he graduates is PRICELESS!

Oh, and I flew all the way up to Chicago from Atlanta to see my boyfriend graduate...and I only got to see him for 2 hours...I would still say it was worth it. :)

i looked up costs on travelocity and expedia and i think it would take about 600-800 to go.
I'd love to go more than anything but right now i'm not sure if i can, with the cost and school and everything. plus my parents aren't enjoying this at all.

It really and truely is worth it!!!!!! Family Day and Graduation have been the 2 most proudest days of my life! If you can go, then go!!!!!

I agree, so worth it. I know it was really important for my bf at the time and the ceremony is so nice and the pride you feel for him that day is untouchable. But I also know how expensive plane tickets are and if you can't do it, you just can't do it times are tough and you can also order a DVD of the graduation and see it later on.

i mean, it is SOO worth it. if you can do it, do it.
but if you can't that is totally understandable.
he'll want you to be there, at first i wasn't gonna go to mine fiances grad (bf at the time) bc i had school and work also, and he told me in a letter it would break his heart if i didnt go.
this is what he will be living these 3 months, it will mean more to him than anything.
