Need Some Help Here.....

Ok so Cody told me tonight about how when we get married I'm gunna need some shots. I'm afraid of needles but it could be worse.... well then he told me about the peanutbutter shot.... Its a shot that has an 18 guaged needle and a substance as thick as peanutbutter that goes in your butt! And you apparently feel like theres a lumb there for about 3 days! I'm friends with his recruiter - who is actually dating one of my best friends - so i asked him & he said he doesn't think I'll need that one. Can anyone help me out with this?? Or tell me what kinds of shots I may need? I can handle the flu shots & stuff like that but I'm not a fan of pain or needles at all. lol.

    thank you mrscplallan :) and yeah.... he told me later last night that he was just joking to get a reaction out of me haha. & i do have an updated shot record. i feel better knowing i wont be needing any more for a while lol im kinda a baby when it comes to that sorta stuff but its necessary lol. thanks everyone :)

    The PB shot is for MARINES, not their wives. It's for when they get sent overseas. They get tons of shots every year so they won't die of diseases in those lovely 3rd world countries they send them to.



    You have to have an updated shot record if you live or work (say, in the daycare) on base, but if you don't, there is no reason for the Marine Corps to know what shots you have. If you get stationed overseas then you will be required to get certain shots.

    I am getting married as well and my marine as told me nothing about shots...I think he is trying to scare you since you are scared of needles.. don't worry.

    I didnt get shots either lol I know Jason did but never once mentioned me getting them. i think it depends whether your shot are up to date and i suppose where hubby is stationed as well and if you going with.

    Hmm ive never heard of getting shots along with your spouse, i heard of them getting shots but not the girls.

    im married and i didnt have to get shots, i just think it might depend on if your shots are up to date or not. which if you have a job im sure they are :)

    when you get married to your soldier you really have to get shots?? :( i love getting tattoos but hate getting shots, its so different.
