Sooo, This Isn't About My Marine

I know, technically, you're supposed to write about your marine or whatever, but I just wanted to give a shout out to my best friend. She has been through so much and I am so happy to see that she's finally happy, just as I am. She's been with me through it all, in some of my toughest years, and I'm happy to say that I've been able to return the favor. No matter how mad we are at each other, we are always there in a time of need. I love my best friend so much, and I don't care how lezbo that sounds, because we both know it's not like that. She's honestly the only person on this planet that fully gets me and she holds half of my soul. I know you're supposed to say that about your husband, but he's a guy, and lets face it: if I said he fully got me, I'd be lying out the ***. I am so madly in love with him, and we both try to understand each other as best as we can, and that's why he holds the other half of my soul. Two soul mates. It's possible. Anyway, I just wanted you to know, if you're reading this, best friend, that I am so thankful for you. Thank you for everything. And, though distance separates us physically, I know you're here in my heart when I need a clever moment to bring me out of a rut, or someone to tell me I'm being an idiot and to shut up. Hahaha! I'm so happy for you! And, I just can't wait to see pictures of your wedding! See you as soon as I can, best friend!
