Missin Him Like Crazy

Hey ladies,
Hope everyone is well.
Just havin a really ****** night. I wanted to go to bed hours ago but the thought of going to bed without his voice tonight is killin me. I've gotten to the point where most days I can think about him and smile knowing that this is his dream and it's an investment in his future and ours and I'm proud of him. But honestly today I just wanna talk to him and it really sucks. I have so much I want to share with him, so much has happened since he left, I got a job and an internship, that's a lot in 2 weeks. But most of all I don't even care if I can tell him all that I really just want to hear him ramble on about life like he does.

I know I still have 2 months left of OCS and I know it will be fine but tonight I've kinda just broken down and can't stop crying. I tried talking to a friend about it and honestly while the advice my friends give is great, they really just don't get it and never will. Not really lookin for anything from anyone just needed to share it with someone who actually understands where I'm comin from

    It's ok, we all have those nights. Mine lasted for a week last week! No lie. Just let it all out. Write down the things you want to share with him that your not able to right now. Write down what your feeling even, it has helped me a ton just to acknowledge how much this sucks sometimes! Take this time to figure out how to distract yourself for when he deploys. It's been two months since my husband deployed, and I've been trying to stay as busy as possible and it really has seemed to fly by!



    Just take a moment to breath, and think about all the good times. What always helps me when I'm down, thinking about when I'll see him again. The excitment of seeing him brings butterflies and a smile to my face. Think about how your going to feel once you see him! Then focus on your new internship! Which congrats by the way! :)

    It's ok to cry, and it's ok to not like being seperated. I mean hell, sometimes when I see couples I just want to punch them! I don't, but I want to. Haha :)

    Just take a moment to calm down, and refocus on everything you guys are accomplishing for your future. This time will fly by in no time. I promise, your in the eye of the storm right now, but it does get easier.

      Thanks, just nice to know your not alone sometimes. I totally agree on being annoyed by other couples thing. My friend complained about her boyfriend being away for a weekend last week and I wanted to strangle her through the phone.

      Hahaha Omg I know how that is. My best friend's husband went away on a business trip, he hadn't even been gone for 24 hours yet and she complained to me... I just stared at her like seriously? She got the hint and laughed it off but man no comparison!
