I Am the Girlfriend, Fiance, Or Wife of a United States Marine
Hey all! :)
I keep going in spurts of getting on and then not again for a few weeks lol. Life is so crazy busy but that's a good thing :) I've finally got a "job" here in 29. I'm babysitting as needed, but it's better then nothing. This week I've been watching a little girl from 8 to 5:30 and a little boy from 4:30 to 12. Tomorrow is my last day with the little girl for 2 weeks and then I'll have her for a month. I'll watch the little boy until 2am tomorrow and saturday! I'm one super tired girl but thats ok!
I'm finally making friends here in the stumps and getting a social life. I feel so much better about my life now! I was feeling really down because I didn't know anyone and never did anything. For those of you who have been in the stumps or heard of them, you know its easy to get down here!
Joey has been playing softball. So our weeknights consist of that 2 or 3 night of the week and its fun. ( even though he doesn't play much) I like to give him a hard time because he's an natural born athlete and the boy can do any sport, so needless to say he's not use to not starting and playing. I'm a ****, I know. But it's fun!
Our one year is coming up soon .. oh my gosh! I can't believe we've been married for almost a year! It's crazy but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Luckily we are facing no deployments anytime soon. He's with a non-deployable unit but said he is going to put his name on the volunteer list in January. Scray!!
