I agree with everyone above you've still got time and it can be done relax and decide what you want to do you know your boyfriend so you know what he likes. I started with colors and worked my way from there i worked it out but i had a lot of help with the venue as while they've held my hand through the whole thing and gave me options of note i just had to make the decisions - it'll be fine you can do this!!

Creat a pintrest account first off, best idea ever. Looking for personal and cheap things for your wedding try etsy. Also by a planner and write everything down, find out your marines favorite cake and try to make it great for both of you, i planned my sisters wedding in 2 months, easy(:

Deffinately keep it simple with such a short amount of time, ive had the same amount of time that you are going to get and i still have about a month and a half to go. Simple and sweet is the best way to go, find a little church or your church, a park if you want it outside, and id keep it some what of a smaller group. But be careful of venues because a lot of places look really nice and cheap, BUT they hit you with the packages like you HAVE to have THEIR caterer and THEIR florist. Keep an eye out for that because thats where we racked up some big bills! But I hope all goes well and if you need anything dont hesitate to ask! And from someone who stresses over litterally everything, a wedding as special as your own... isnt that bad!@

Make sure with all the venues you get, the place, food, dj, florist, anything that they are military friendly and if by chance you have to change the date they will work with you as long as you don't cancel and it's just a change of date.

I agree with MrsSpish, take a deep breath! Thngs will work out :) I planned our wedding in 5 months also, the first thing I did was get a venue, that way I could color cordinate better. Things fell into place really well and it was a ton of fun! We had our wedding on a yacht out in Newport Beach, CA. It worked relly wellse it was pretty much all exclusive. So they gave me sheets of paper with lists of caters, hair and makeup, DJs, florist, everybody they normally work with and knew how to work with them. That helped a ton because all I did was call people on the list. I got my wedding dress the week after we got engaged, I went to test dresses out to figure out my style, the second dress I tried on I fell in love with and it was done! Of course I tried on about 12 lol just to make sure, and I kept going back to that dress. So I got it! Lol Things just fell into place.

The thing you have to remember, is planning a wedding so fast when you make a decision stick to it. Otherwise your going to stress yourself out. Every decision I made I never regreted, You really don't have enough time to second guess yourself, so it makes it kind of nice. :) Good luck! If you need any help you can always ask and I can try and help you out girl :) Ohh I also used weddingbuzz.com I think that was the website and it gave me great ideas! You can also look on pinterest for wedding ideas. If you don't have a pinterest account you can PM your email and I can invite you. :)

I planned my wedding in 2 1/2 months. First step deep breath lol I promise it is not as stressful as it seems. With only 5 months you should think simple. I don't know what your taste is, but I had a simple country wedding. Nothing fancy. Start thinking about the things you have to reserve. Venue, caterer, tables, chair, etc...

Then of course the dress. After I bought my dress everything seemed to fall into place. Good luck!
