Trying To Figure Out Benefits!

Hey everyone! My fiance is in Marine Corps boot camp right now, but will be graduating July 27th. Since hes been gone, I found out that I'm pregnant (and yes it's his, I'm 11 weeks!) I've been looking online trying to find more information on what benefits we will get if we get married as far as healthcare for me now and when the baby is born. Also, he's in the reserves right now so I'm not sure if he gets different benefits from someone whose active. Would it be better for him to switch to active? I'm 18 and he's 20 so were looking for the best solution so we can have enough money to take care of our baby.

All I know is that the reserve's medical is a little different from active and I think it's just that they actually pay to have the insurance. Don't quote me on that though

Becoming active when you are in the reserves is difficult....or at least it was for Jim. It took forever and then he finally went into officer taining cuz it was his best option. But anyways as far as I know the insurance is the same. I don't know all the details because it's not something I've had to think about as of yet. I would have you're marine ask though. That or go in and ask at the recruiters office. Tell him the situation and ask where you can go for info or if he has stuff you can read or whatever.
