The Fear Of A Distant Relationship.

His girls this is my first time using the website and just reading some of the stories you ladies are going through has moved me in ways I can hardly explain. I have been so nervous lately, my boyfriend of 3 years leaves this November for his camp. I know it isn't deployment but the fear of how my life without him for a couple months will be scares me 100%. I have had sleepless nights and he isn't even gone yet. I'm just scared our relationship will fall apart due to impatience, sadness, and frustration for the both of us. I am so inspired by the stories I have read so far! I hope this will help me stay positive! Thank you for the inspiration!

    I had the same worries, but everyone has told me that their relationship had been even better after bootcamp. My boyfriend is 8 weeks into bootcamp now and it has really made me appreciate him and love him 10x's more now that i know what it's like with him gone. So try to not worry as much as i did haha, cz apparently absence really does make the heart grow fonder;) and like LovinMyMarine said the letters really do help cz you will still be able to talk to him throughout the time he's gone (which goes by super fast)

    I know exactly how you feel. When my boyfriend started his 3 month count down, i was freaked out! I was so worried about what him leaving was gonna be like. He's been gone a month tomorrow, and its been.. different. But his leters are SO reassuring. You are gonna need to put a lot of work into the distance. But i know if i can do it at 16, you'll have no problem! If you have any questons or just need to talk, dont hesitate to message me. :)
