I Am the Girlfriend, Fiance, Or Wife of a United States Marine
So we all share in our sorrows and our joys and our frustrations...today i want to give my man a little shout out for his Corps accomplishments.
He received a letter of commendation upon his return for taking on responsibilities that were not required of him and supporting another unit that needed help; he got his good cookie ribbon/award yesterday and he has another CFT score award (i think it was a CFT anyways lol. i'll never get the two straight..) AND he's finally decided that he'll be all about makin a career outta the corps if he gets the reenlistment. I'm not holdin my breath on him stickin to that until he actually submits though. I love this life, and the pride i feel when he's in that uniform, or when he comes home and is beaming with pride in the Corps. I'm sure most if not all of you have heard someone talk about not being moto and blah blah blah or picking on someone for being too motivated but deep down Nick loves being a marine and i love when he shows that side of him just as much as i love when he separates work from home.
