I Am the Girlfriend, Fiance, Or Wife of a United States Marine
His MOS training is complete in a week...which means these last few days have consisted of him telling me numerous things and ideas on where he is going to end up. Which In reality is where I'm going to end up also. STRESSFUL. I am new to this, but I never would have imagined how unpredictable the marine corps really is. I am a girl who likes order, I like to have a plan, I like to know where I want to be. My marine has totally taken that philosophy and thrown it out the window. This uncertainty is driving me crazy! I can feel myself distancing away from him whenever he brings up another possible base. I want to be supportive, because I'm truth where he goes ill find a school, but its difficult right now. I just wish they had some sort of say! There are loving girlfriends back home who's lives the marine corps is changing too. I can't wait until I can marry him, and truly stand by his side.
