KBR & Iraq Electrocutions

KBR is getting a new contract for electrical work in Iraq. Their work has caused multiple US military DEATHS by electrocution in the last 8 years.

Our men don't deserve to have showers that kill them! Matt told me it's well known in Iraq and that he hardly ever showered the first deployment because of this.

So far there are 18 deaths under review that were probably caused by faulty wiring done by KBR. Some in the showers, some while doing other water related activities such as use of power-washers to clean vehicles.

We have to do something. What can we do? There has to be a way to bring this to the spotlight and stop them from continuing to win new contracts.

Yeah 18 is way out there! it sounds like there's something else going on with this contract (or maybe i'm a bit paranoid haha!). unless someone is getting benefitted from this, i don't understand why anyone would give those guys a contract again.

I don't know what we can do but you're right, something has to happen! This is absolutely ridiculous. Why would a company who is under review for deaths already get signed on again to do the same work that they're being investigated for?! If someone we hire does bad work in our homes, we don't hire them again for our next problem so why should KBR get another contract while under review? It makes no sense.
