My boyfriend was told he would be leaving for PI in March but sadly now it's going to be January. I'm really starting to see I don't want him to leave. I try to be strong and he knows that but sometimes I can't help but fall apart and worry. I've never been through something like this so I'm kind of scared kind of happy. I just really want to know is this normal and how do you stay positive during the whole thing?

You just don't think about it at all. You guys still have a lot of time. Spend as much time as you can with him and really put it out of your mind. If you don't, it will ruin the time you have left with him

You guys have time. Spend every waking moment you have together enjoying this time. You will miss him. Take a lot of pictures. Make videos of him so you can hear his voice. Just remember that distance makes the heart grow fonder and when you see him again you'll fall in love all over again. Also this is only temporary. 3 months is nothing and after phase 2 it goes by so quickly. If you're staying busy and writing a lot if letters you'll be fine.
