I Am the Girlfriend, Fiance, Or Wife of a United States Marine
this has nothing to do with the Marine corps, BUT i just thought i would share.
as most of you probably don't know- i live in a little town called southport RIGHT outside of panama city, florida. nothing happens in southport, and the only "crazy" things that happen in panama city, happen during spring break lol, if you've heard. anyways- i was driving back home from class this morning and i am about 5 minutes away from home and i'm stuck in crazy traffic. i then notice the helicopters circling the area and A LOT of cops parked at a nearby gas station. some people got out of their vehicles and i asked one guy that was walking by what happend, he told me there was a high speed chase. and i'm guessing they caught the guy?? it's just kind of BIG in a small town. but i just thought i'd share that little part of my day with whoever reads this.
thought it was interesting. and i am bored now.
UPDATE
so i looked up the story on the panama city newspaper website and here it is- it's short. but at least i kind of understand what's going on a few blocks from my house...
