Not That They Take It, But . . .

. . . they ask anyway. And in detail too. That's what amazes me. They not only want my advice, they want it in detail, like I'm giving them step-by-step instructions. Then, even more amazing is that when I see them days or weeks or months later, they tell me they didn't take my advice, that they'd done something else, and that they wished they'd done what I told them.
At that point I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
