I Hate Missing Him.... </3

I am 16 and my boyfriend 19, was deployed to Iraq.
I get to see him in october for a month, For christmas and for my birthday..
It's hard watching him leave and exspecially hard to hear his voice and not be able to see him.
We haven't been together long, but long enough to know whom he really is and get to know him a little better.
I know people think its crazy we didnt start dating until after he was deployed but I honestly think he is worth the wait.
I wouldnt want my life any other way at the moment i'm the happiest i've been in a long time, Yet its still hard to lay in bed and know he is out fighting for my life.
I have soon learned that Soldiers have a significant reason for being on earth, To fight for our life and to love someone with everything.
&& Right now I have a guy who loves me with everything.
My mom dont understand why I would be in love with a guy in the army, but she has also never loved a guy thats in the army.. </3

It's impossible to explain to a "civilian" the love you feel for a soldier. I've been dating my boyfriend for 4 years now. He's currently in Iraq. He's been there since early May and doesn't get a leave until November. I haven't got a phone call in a week or two, only text messages. I miss the sound of his voice and I miss his face. Whenever he gets a chance to send me a quick picture of himself, it makes me miss him even more. I'd give anything to kiss him or hug him. Being a military girlfriend/fiance/wife is extrememly hard and stressful, but well worth the wait when you watch him walk through the terminal at the airport. Good luck to you, hon!
