Always Tired

Since I was in my sophomore year of college, I've developed some minor, yet chronic problems with no known cause. One of them is constantly being's not a matter of me being physically too weak or fatigued to do things. It's just mentally, I'm sleepy. I feel like I don't get enough sleep, even though I sleep 8-9 hours a night. Caffeine doesn't even take the edge off the tiredness, and if I drink too much, I develop chest pain, so I can't keep tossing back mugs of java.

I've tried sleeping more, I've tried exercising, meditation, more coffee, daytime naps...nothing works. Sometimes I do get woke up early in the morning, either by people making a lot of noise, yelling at one another, or the dogs barking...this happens maybe twice a week, but it does not explain why I'm tired every single day.

I'm only 23 and in good health, so I have absolutely no reason to be tired, yet here I am, fighting to stay awake every single day. I really wish I knew why I feel like this because I hate not being able to stay awake.
