Do you know that in the "Equal Opportunity Employment Commission" they cannot discriminate against you for

Do you see weight or size in there anywhere? They ARE allowed to discriminate against you based on your body size!! My husband couldn't work at a job because they didn't have gear to fit him, and won't even try to get some gear for him (Size 18 boots, not weight related!!).  I didn't know if you were aware that weight is not considered a disability, and can and will be used against you.  Good luck!

I will give you that people think that if you are not genetically (and even then) overweight that it is a choice we make due to lack of willpower over food. However, it is much more likely to be a response to other things, such as a coping mechanism, symptom of other problems such as depression (I think this is a number 1 reason), or other illnesses, mental, emotional, and physical. I can think of many people in my life that are overweight, I can't think of one of them that is overweight because they just like food so much that they don't care about their body image. Especially since we are the last people that it is still politic to openly mock.
