Pretty Sad

I'm only 29 and sitting at home in front of the computer on friday night with nothing to do.  it sucks cause I'm at that age where most of my friends are married or in a long term relationship, have kids or expecting and noone wants to go out anmore and I cant stand going ou by myself.  I guess I need to somehow find some new, single friends

I'm in NYC by the way..

I know what you mean... I myself at times need a small break... Most if my friends are either working, in a relationship or don't have a nanny for the night...

I suggest you should write thats what i do , and it helps , your own company is not so bad . Accept only having it can sometimes DRIVE YOU NUTS ! I mean starving for intellectual communication , someones touch . It really sucks , but we have to deal with it and hope for the best , be optimistic , i can already see by your profile that your a beautiful person , everyone is . Don't let others define who you are , just step up to the plate ! AND BELIEVE ME NO ONES UGLY . Beauty is in the eye of the beholder .

It sucks to be bored at any age my dear. I suppose the thing is learning how to be comfortable with your own company and finding a way to turn your boredom into positive or creative energy:)
