I Am? Are You Serious?

That's normally how it starts, I'm being serious? I'm talking monotone? I honestly didn't know!
Why am I so serious because it's affected many things in my earlier years and still does especially with interacting with people my own age. Who wants a serious friend? Even online? I've come by few and then they disappear.
I may not laugh at all your jokes, I deal with things with iron will most of the time, I am passionate and sentimental, I do relax and am humorous, I think what my unconscious face looks like asleep since apparently I look like I'm out to get somebody walking around if I'm not working on my grin, and look and speak serious but I assure you there's a friendly warm-hearted woman beneath these blue eyes. I wonder what happened and where that social butterfly I used to be before highschool disappeared too also?

Apparently it hinders the personality, hehe. I see no problem with it now however, it definitely helps me focus on early education more and not mix with the majority of immature folk this age. I'm coming along though finely, not as statuesque as I used to be but it's something that will never entirely leave me and I'm grateful for the small ability to lock out emotion briefly, you never know when you're going to need it!

I've been told that I'm "too serious" as well, and suppose that I've always been, though I'm afraid there isn't much I can do about it. As with you, this has cause difficulty, long as I can remember, in interacting with others my own age.
