I Took A Wrong Turn Along The Way

I've got goals and ambitions , they aren't extavagent or anything special . The road to success seems to be made of mud and it bogs me down the further I go along and the wrong turns I took didn't help either . But it can be truly said that everything happens for a reason and when I have my head together I can see how that is true . Sometimes the way we want to go isn't the way we need to go ; maybe a higher calling pulls at us in a diirection that only becomes clear when we open our eyes and go . I thought that I had some solid goals and a direction in life and instead I found that my way lies on a different path . perhaps once I dropped all the bullcrap and asked myself " what can I do with what I have and can do ?" That was when the moment of clarity shined a light on the right path before me . It's taken so long to happen and I hope and pray it's not too late .
