When I Got Pregnant, I Was ...

When I got pregnant, I was in the best shape of my life.  I weighed 125 pounds.  I worked out everyday.  I was happy with my self image. 

Then SURPRISE! Everything changed.  Pregnancy drained me.  I was so scared of losing the baby, that I didn't feel comfortable exercising (until towards the end...I started swimming). And I was so HUNGRY.  I would wake up in the middle of the night starving, and have to get up and eat...I weighed 180 at 9 months pregnant and lost 10 pounds right before I had her.

So, this is the slow decline.  I am trying to get back into a size 5, though I doubt it will happen because a persons body changes after giving birth.  I ahve lost some weight, I don't know how much because I don't have a scale.  But I'm working real hard on it and I'm breastfeeding, so that helps take the baby weight off.  I just need to eat healthier and get into an exercise routine.  I never thought it would be so hard to lose weight again!
