It Is Time...I was not fat as a kid. My parents were over weight, but I swore I wasn't going to be. Now, 5 kids later, here I am. I tried for a long time to keep the weight down (after I had gained 60 pounds with my first baby). After my third, I had post-partum depression that was undiagnosed for a couple of years. Then when I was 41 I had my fourth child and within 6 months I was pregnant with my 5th...TOTAL surprise! Two kids within two years after the age of 40??? Yeah, not good. Twelve days after my daughter was born, she passed away and I spent a year in a haze.
Now I have 100 pounds to lose. I have high blood pressure (taking meds) and fibromyalgia along with some days of depression still.
But today I got my new eating/workout plan and I am ready to get going!
My family and have to make a lot of changes so I am planning to take this week to get groceries, etc. My goal is to lose 50 pounds by the summer and get off of at least one blood pressure and maybe the cholesterol medications. I have tried and failed numerous times, but I do feel more motivated and ready this time!
