Unfortunately my pregnancy test was negative :( I thought it had worked....up until my BFN. Had symptoms of sore breasts, crampy here and there, no period. I suppose all the meds I was on can cause confusion. Both in my mind and body. During the 2ww I think I just over analyzed everything, which I'm sure everyone does. Not sure what the future has in store. My insurance will only pay for 3 rounds of IVF and does NOT pay for injectable meds which are of course the most expensive. Have to determine how much money we are willing to spend....Good Luck!!

o so sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel. I felt the same for my 1st ivf attempt. We actually did ivf and icsi. I also had the same symptoms as you were, except my pregnancy test was positive and I spotted on the 5th week. Our insurance didn't cover such treatment (it cost us most of our saving). Can't even claim for the meds. I wasn't quite ready for the 1st ivf but we just proceed with it. This time, we're more well prepared and my first experience really helps me emotionally and mentally. We also changed clinic. I'm sure there is still hope for everyone like us. Please don't give up. My prayers be with you.

    Hi Kate,

I'm 34 and I had my first IVF and ICSI attempt last year (33 years old my hubby was 50) and it was unsuccessful due to low quality embryo. This year, March 19, 2012, I started to my first buserelin. My doc told me the ER will be in 2 weeks time depending on how mature my eggs are. It's true that high quality embryo will lead to successful IVF treatment. How was your 2ww? Hope to hear good news from you.

Happy to hear about your baby girl. Had my ER today. 15 eggs, we'll see how many fertilize tomorrow! Tummy pretty sore. Hopefully that will go away with time but the nurse said it will cont. even if I'm pregnant. Thought that would go away soon??? She said your ovaries cont to stay enlarged. Never heard of that....

Hi Kate! First of all good luck! I had my first pregnancy in 40 with IVF I traveled to Ukraine, and from the first attempt I was pregnant, I had also Menapur, Oestradiole, Proginova... . I thought I will never be pregnant, because I had 3 unsuccessful IVFs before in UK.

    I have a girl))

Hope to hear from you a good news!
