35 Years And Should I Still Be Counting??

I have been married for 35 years and every year its gets worse and worse. My husband drinks every day and there are times I hear him getting up at 1 or 2 in the morning to get a beer. I have been working to keep the house and the little we have.

My dad had a drink problem for many years, my mum tried to leave him several times, but because of financial reasons as she had 4 young children to bring up, she always came back to him. He was a very selfish man. He passed away, mainly due to his selfish lifestyle, 2 and a half years ago. She is still very angry that she didn't get to tell him exactly what she thought of him for the way he treated her, yes she did love the man, and misses the good part of him, but what alot of life she missed out on. She now goes on many holidays with her friends, and is getting on with what's left of precious life. I understand more than most how hard it is to leave, married 28 yrs myself. Myman is a serial cheat and I deserve more. We all deserve to make the most of our lives, we all have a choice. It's our fault if we choose to stay. Hope you make the right decision for yourself. X
