Unique Vs. Weird.

I'm unique because it sounds better than saying that I'm weird.

Seriously though, the best explanation that I can come up with for why I think that I'm unique involves a story...

I was around 13 years old and having a conversation with my mother on the philosophy/morality of creating human clones. She had asked me what I thought of having another 'version' of myself walking around, i.e. someone who looked exactly like me. My response was this: "I don't really mind the thought of having a look-alike of me walking around because even though she may look like me, she'll never be me. Its impossible to clone experiences, thoughts, dreams, or memories. Basically, it'll be like I have an identical twin walking around. We'd be two entirely separate entities that just happen to look alike."

I still feel that way.

(I was a very philosophical 13 year old...I'm still a deep thinker even today...)
