The Rhetorical Miracle Of The Quran

The Repetition in the Qur'an is aspect of its miraculous exposition and in fact, it increases eagerness to find out why some verses in the Quran specifically are repeated and are they really completely similar? Here is a few examples:

1-((They cried: Burn him and STAND BY your gods, if ye will be doing. (68) We said: O fire, be coolness and peace for Abraham, (69) And they wished to set a snare for him, but We made them the greater LOSERS)). (70)Al-anbiyaa

2- ((They said: Build for him A BUILDING and fling him in the red-hotfire. (97) And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the UNDERMOST)) . (98) As-saaffat

In the verses of Al-anbiyaa surah, Abraham's folk cried (grant your gods a victory in this battle) , Allah said We made them the greater losers. In As-saaffat , Abraham's folk also said : build for him a building( which implies height and altitude in order to viciously torture him). Allah replied to their words by saying We made them the UNDERMOST. Every letter in the Quran is there for a purpose and not a merely repetition.

A) In the story of Adam and Eve and the forbidden tree , the Quran says they asked forgiveness for this sin:

((And their Lord called to them, "Did I not forbid you from that tree and tell you that Satan is to you a clear enemy?" They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we WILL SURELY be among the losers."))

B) Noah has another story :
((And Noah called to his Lord and said, "My Lord, indeed my son is of my family; and indeed, Your promise is true; and You are the most just of judges!"
He said, "O Noah, indeed he is not of your family; indeed, he is [one whose] work was other than righteous, so ask Me not for that about which you have no knowledge. Indeed, I advise you, lest you be among the ignorant." [Noah] said, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I WILL be among the losers."))

C) The folk of Moses were not only sinners , not only ignorant they committed a horrendous act when they chose to worship a calf.
((And the folk of Moses, after (he left them), chose a calf (for worship), (made) out of their ornaments, of saffron hue, which gave a lowing sound. Saw they not that it spake not unto them nor guided them to anyway? They chose it, and became wrong-doers. (148) And when they feared the consequences thereof and saw that they had gone astray, they said: Unless our Lord have mercy on us and forgive us, we VERILY ARE OF THE LOST)). (Al-araf 149).

At first glance, you may think that those verses of repentance are alike but after a careful reading you will notice that they are not really similar. the reason is that the nature of the sin committed by the three parties (Adam and Eve , Noah and the folk of Moses) is completely different !.Arabic readers would easily observe this . words of remorse came highly emphasized by Moses'' folk and with more letters of affirmation (words in the English translation)out of the kind of the sin being perpetrate by them in comparison with the two other stories.. There are endless examples for the beauty of the Quran and its eloquence. No doubt that these words couldn't have been said or reserved but only by a God (Allah SWT)..
