I feel...

I feel...

What do I feel?

A myriad of emotions, each fighting for supremacy.

I walked myself this way. No one picked me up & carried me... There were no signs of a struggle.

I forgot myself perhaps? I took the mask off, set it down somewhere & lost it?

I got above myself?

I wanted & wanted & wanted until I got. When I should've been careful what I wished for...

    Never shy away from passion. Life is a series of never-ending lessons. At the end of the day, many of us learn to passionately appreciate that which we have before us instead of passionately pursuing something different.

    Is the mask that you took off the forgotten self? Or are you what lies underneath that mask?

    I observe that sometimes we do drift far from our true selves, but our authentic self is never quite where we left it -- it has grown, moved. Time only moves in one direction.
