Just For A Moment

Just For A Moment
 Like a picked rose
your wilted petals
are becoming more visible than your beauty...
So onto thee
my gentle weathered friend
I place my lips
upon your cheek
my hands upon your head and like a tired child you melt into me
I can see how sad you are...
Let me hold you here for awhile
And comfort away your sorrow
Let me sooth your aching mind
and your oh so broken heart
Let me warm you up like a kiss of spring unto winters ground
I want to feel you
and warm your soul
Like a silly clown
I yearn to paint a smile
on your trials
Like the sunrise lights up the night
Let my passion carry you
I want to help you forget even if it is just for the moment...

Beautifully written.

You sure know how to paint a picture with words that is so amazing and inviting

I like this one. I can picture it well.
