Scared To Death!!!

Being homeless scares me out of my wits! Being homeless with my 8 year old daughter terrifies me!! I'm in a situation with neighbors that could just possibly do that. They own the land my brother is leasing. They want me off and have threatened to cut us off from water and electric. These people are doing everything they can to cause hardship for my daughter and I, who have recently come out of a domestic violence situation. I was recently informed that most of the problem is jealousy, but I won't go into that because it is all in their heads. They like to make up things to cause drama and have been caught in a lot of their lies. I am doing all I can to get as far away from them as possible. The problem is that housing in my area is a big problem.

I cannot even begin to describe how it feels to look at your child and realize for the first time in her life, I may be unable to provide one of her most basic needs. It is very stressful and frightening. let's not even mention depressing because I am trying my best to keep a positive outlook!

I have submitted my application to every apartment available in my area for the last three months, only to be told they are full, all except for one building that has only one opening for a one bedroom apartment. If we are not approved for it, I don't know what we will do.

To say I'm scared is an understatement, full panic mode and depression are the most accurate ways I can think of to describe how I'm feeling.

I have to quit before I start bawling like a baby, I have done plenty of that in the last few months!

I m 38 year ond and single. I am also scared of everything even from people to whome i know. I dont know how to get rid from this problem. Please help me. I am also looking for a life partner forever

I really hope things work out for you. I'm crying just reading your passage because I know how you feel, facing it myself. Have you looked up adds for people in the area looking for roomates? That would be something you can try til an apartment opens up. Check at your local college. College students are always looking for roomates. Or even at the apartments, ask the manager if they have anyone that has recently told them they're roomate moved out and they might have to move or what not and give them your number to give. Your daughter can share a room with you til you can get ur own place. I wish that was my problem. Mine is that my family income is down to 0 and we possibly aren't going to qualify for any assistance because my husband was fired.

If you have family..I don't think they would let you and your daughter live on the streets.
If you have just come out of a violent relationship..there are people who help with domestic abuse.
There are also many churches who will help with that sort of thing.Get your phonebook out and start calling.
As I once came out of a domestic violence marriage many years ago with two kids..I also had those fears. It always turned out alright and now they are grown and I have a wonderful life.
Hang in there and have faith..it'll be alright. Most of all..believe in yourself!
I wish you all the best!

Is it your credit that's hanging you up or ?
