Will all my hard work pay off in the future? Will the tide take me away from this place, and allow me to see the world in all it's glory?

    i believe hard work does pay off and its usually compounded by that i mean you can work as hard as you can and then coast for a while on the pay off. you can build up momentum.

    so what happened? seeing as this is the future.... id be interested to hear.
