Well Spoken

I love words. I love to build beautifully structured sentences and turn phrases in clever ways.I like the way I can manipulate words and say the same thing in many different ways. It's a type of freedom.

Being a wordsmith myself I can hop in this boat with you. I have always been talented on paper but it wasn't until I did public speaking for several years that I developed an orator's addiction. No matter what you have prepared I learned that feeding off of the crowd and going with the flow they are feeding off of is an adrenaline rush like no other.

I could do well in small groups but a large group would be terrifying...I imagine the feeling of delivering well in a crowd and being received in the same fashion would feel fantastic though :)

You start small and build. The largest group I spoke to was 5000, I was terrified. I started off saying I was nervous and gave the whole "Someone told me to picture you all in your underwear" line. When no one laughed I said "He apparently didn't look at the first 3 rows." When everyone stopped laughing I looked off stage and asked for some pepto bismol. After the following chuckle it was smooth sailing lol

What did you speak on?
