I Am Who I Am
I am the dreamer. The one who creates fair lands of peace and sunshine. The one who refuses to bow to the whims of reality. The one who yearns for beauty and serenity. For joy and happiness. For a glorious spring as far as the eye can see, shining a brilliant yellow and red, swaying gently in the mild wind. For smiling faces and giggles and laughter.
I am the worker, leaving dreams aside when need be. Melting days and nights into one. Rain and sleet and wind and snow, all peripheral to my goal, never felt and never heard.
I am the nurturer. You have only to be connected with me, by blood or by friendship, by nature or by empathy, and I will protect you from all harm. I will put you before myself. Hold on tight until everything is okay. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here for you. If you need to cry, here's my shoulder. I will fight your corner, give you all I have, and then some more.
I am tranquility. Stable and mature. Quiet and observant. Like grass beside a chattering brook, watered by the stream of accumulated wisdom, flowing through the twists and turns of the world. Silent but not asleep.
I am synergy. More than the sum of my parts. A composite whole. I am just ME! :)
