I Am Who I Am
These words are from a saying, a poem by Jacques Prevert. I would like to talk about myself here, if you don't mind. You know I am French, born in Marseille in 1991, and now living in Lyon. I was born on October 3rd.
I've been described by a few in a few ways. I have my antenae out for social trends developing around me. Not only am I adept at being fashionable but perhaps at setting fashion too, in my social circle (whatever that is!). I am happy being up-to-date things, but I am thoroughly modern, but I have a sense of tradition and where I fit into it.
I am expansive, and I don't like being pigeonholed. I'm interested in everything around me and I do become quite expert in more than just one thing (all from an artist's perspective). I let my spirit soar. I am an exaltationist in a critical way, and although I am open to a variety of experiences I have strong likes and dislikes.
I do fear burnout because I am intensive and perfectionistic in what I do.
I am a little of a role-player, aware of where I fit in. I am prone to exhibitionism, and I'm never happier than when I am the centre of attention in any gathering. It's difficult for me to go unnoticed, and although I am happy spending a long time alone, I do need to be recognised for who I am.
I often set the pace, and I'm never content to sit back and allow things to just happen. Being accused of bad taste is particularly galling, even insulting!
I have been said to be a curious blend of introvert and extrovert, often demonstrating piercing insights into the inner workings of other people but reluctant to reveal what I know about myself! I will make a good parent!
I don't get caught up in superficiality, snobbism, or status, but some say this can undermind fundamental relationships. Some think I only relate to those I consider the right people!
I do take my meals on the run! Not that I eat much really...
