She's a Ahard smoker

My mother has been smoking since she was 16. She's 60 now. She never stopped smoking. My father says she smoked during her two pregnancies too.  She's a doctor and yet she's smoking. And how! About a packet a day! A lot of the doctor folk do, but it is annoying to think about it. A few years ago she had thyroid cancer (sorry I'm not sure if that's the proper term) cut and is supposed to go to her doctor twice a year. Nonetheless she still smokes. Recently e've noticed that she's slower in getting up and morning I think she was sick, but she wouldn't tell.

I'm not sure what is going to happen now, she keeps smoking despite everything and she is beyond every reasoning (because she herself is never wrong and only she can be right and so she tells US what to do but won;t let us tell her anything) and she is a doctor. It's so annoying. I am concerned but there seems to be very little i can do about it.

This i really sad, once you get it in your system it;s impossible to even think straight. So sad. THe plant itself as chewed by some native tribes was ok it's the chemistry that did it. WE all have our addictions and nothing is really healthy but bottom line is we should strive to control it and not get overtaken by it.

I volunteered on an Ambulance for a while and you would be surprised the people we took in that said the samething. They wouldn't stop no matter what we told them. No matter how much we wanted to help, they would not listen.
