Ambition Is Anathema To Progress.

Recently I was unable to sleep because I realized all the plot ideas and stories that I had come up with since elementary school could be hooked together into one behemoth epic spanning four ultra volumes that would easily crush the breadth and depth of any novel written thus far in human history. This was a valuable experience. Because of it I've decided to abandon all thought of publishing and write purely for myself. You see, when I dream of being able to reach out and touch people with my words my ambitions grow exponentially. And it's been much easier to write ever since. My advice to you, don't worry about writing for an audience ever. Just write. If you are worried about success or publishing chances are your writing a shallow, pale representation of your true hearts desiring. And that's not what we want, is it?
