Dateline Fredericksburg, Tx.....

Stars and starlets: The folks making the film “Seven Days in Utopia” are looking for people who want to be in the movies.

The film, based on David Cook’s book of the same name, will be shot at Boot Ranch Golf Club in Fredericksburg from July 29 to Aug. 10. The casting call is from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 17, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 18, at the Inn on Barons Creek in Fredericksburg, according to the convention and visitor bureau.

“They are looking for golfers, and people of all ages, to appear in the film and in crowd scenes during ‘PGA’ tournament scenes,” according to the email from the CVB.

Golfers. People of all ages. Yep. That’s you.

The film will star Robert Duvall and Lucas Black. Its scheduled release date is next spring. It’ll be shot in Utopia (a real town, I know, because I’ve been there) as well.
Can't wait to see ol' Bobby again....!!!

I could go, I guess. I live in Austin. But golf and crowds! Geez!
