I Appreciate Subtlety
To me, subtlety is about the little things that usually go unnoticed or unsaid. The underlying, understated elegance that exists in many things.
The smell of Russian olive trees in early summer.
The stillness in the air just before sunrise.
A glance between two people who know each other's minds.
Those moments where no words are needed.
A little green sprout coming out of the earth. Not crying out for attention. Just growing hopefully and saying, "I'm here. Please don't step on me."
