I Ask Myself, How Did I Get Here
I don't know why I've always identified myself with A.E. Houseman's quote, " I , a stranger and afraid, in a world I never made, " but I have.
From a very early age I went on a dual, life long, soul-searching, fact finding mission of "why's and what for's, and took no prisoners, in regards to religion, politics, or life in general, determined to get to the bottom of the mysterious question millions have asked for thousands of years.'What's it all about?'
On this disappointing journey, I did not tip-toe through the tulips seeking answers to my thus far unanswered questions, I stomped to where I am today, and now, alas, I sit here asking myself, " How did I get here?" How did I arrive at this point in my life, more confused than I was all those years ago, still unsure which came first, "the chicken, or the egg"?
