I Battle Depression and Anxiety
Children who have been hurt will tell you
that the beatings were enough
You had to add the insults and derogatory statements
So I created a world outside of this one
I knew how to free my mind and take over control
of my body
You felt weak and needed a victim
when I discovered your story I knew it was me
who showed compassion
In no way do I excuse your actions
In my heart I knew you had never learned to love
I suppose hate came easy if you want it
I do not want it anymore
